The Culinary Institute of America has been setting the standard for professional cooks across America for over 60 years. The company runs a prestigious cooking school that was founded by Frances Roth and Katharine Angell in 1946 in downtown Newhaven, Connecticut as the New Haven Restaurant Institute. As the institutes's reputation grew, enrollment and expansion boomed. Today the Culinary Institute of America is the oldest and most renowned culinary college in the United States with campuses in Hyde Park, New York; St. Helena, California; and San Antonio, Texas. Many renowned chefs such as Cat Cora, Anthony Bordain, Todd English, Charlie Palmer, and Michael Symon have graduated from the Culinary Institute of America to become famous restaurant and television chefs and guests.

Today, the Culinary Institute of America provides high end cookware for professional and consumer chefs. Their Masters Collection features high-end cookware, cutlery, bakeware, and culinary tools which were designed, created and tested by their faculty of Certified Master Chefs at their Hyde Park campus.
